Packing and Getting sick

You don't realize all the things you have until you have to move. Seriously, packing last night, it dawned on me that I could clothe all of China and then some. hehe, for the first time in my life, I actually told my mom I had too many clothes. Ah yes, growing up already.

This will be a quick post but one just to thank everyone who prayed for the ride up. I got really *really* sick last night at about 1:00 am and wanted to hurl but couldn't and was just shaking all over will chills. I think I ate something bad because my stomach felt like it was on fire. Almost passing out this morning, I seriously didn't think I would be able to drive Can and myself up. Praise God because we made it safe and sound!

On another note: I walked 20 blocks on Whyte Ave today while Can was in school and passing by every single store, I could only find a Chapters and a small used bookstore; both had nothing I was looking for. God Bless Calgary's Kensington. So tomorrow, I'm going to phone Pages on Kensington, admit I was wrong and beg them to re-order Spenser's Faerie Queene for me. hehe. Calgary has it ALL, including a wonderful Shakespeare store on 17th Ave. So despite my frustration, I was inwardly beamingly proud of my city this afternoon. Go Calgary!
