Not So Perfect ;)

Without jumping into all the details of this week, I've decided that Life has so many facets that you can't busy yourself trying to understand them all at once. It will come, one step at a time. And, when it does, you'll be glad you took the time to focus on each day, that you waited.

The world isn't so perfect. In fact, it's far from, and more and more I'm learning how to live. Truly live. There are days when I feel like the weight of the world is just too much and then days like these where I decide to "take the night off" and resign myself to my throw, teddy and a good WB show :)

God's done really amazing things in my life this week (and it's only Wednesday!). Stretching comes in all shapes and sizes and mine came in the form of incredibly challenging conversations, moments of silence, computer crashes, friends when and where you need them and a good cry and counseling session in a nook by the fire exit ;) See, the thing is, we can't always expect God to speak loudly and explicitly. But, we can expect Him to always be there, always guiding, always leading. As we go further in our walk with Him, He will purposefully be silent at times to, in a sense, "test" us. What have we learned all this time? And do we remember His goodness, our answered prayers? Because if we do, then we'll know that this storm will pass. We meet Him on the other side, join hands, and just keep moving.

He's always with us, whether we believe Him to be so or not. Hebrews 13:5 says, "Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, 'Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you (Also in Deut.31:6).'" Praise God for your strengthened faith! I believe that the more we believe, the better we are able to communicate our faith to others.

Thank you for sharing your eloquent words of hope in the midst of pain. Trudy, life IS tough, but a friend once said to me, "Never forget why a butterfly becomes so great... because of all the struggles it goes through." Hang in there, sweetie! I'm here for you always. love clarissa
