My professor canceled class yesterday because he had to fly back to Newfoundland that morning. It felt so weird not having 16th Century as part of my Thursday and I think realizing that made me acutely aware of how much I have grown to love not only this class, but all the other ones as well. So he's in Newfoundland and my Greek professor left for England on Monday; his father-in-law passed away over the weekend. Another theory professor's father-in-law also passed away early this week. I don't know what it was but it just made me so sad; its like the moment you first realize that your parents are human, that they hurt too.
Today is Easter Friday and I've made a decision that I want to feel it in my heart. There is so much still left to do in this semester, it being only one week away. One more paper to write, five more exams to push through and then we're done, heading onto phase 3.5 of university life.
