It's nice that the UL has caught up with the rest of the world. Whatever paranoia the university may have been suffering from before has passed; at least, started to pass (hot spots are limited to four places - the most restricted areas in the library). Nonetheless, connection is nice to have with you, though distractions are inevitable (as my trusty blog entry would now betray).
Week 7 (of 8) has now begun and home is within eyesight. I'm excited, to point out the obvious, and nervous too. I'm hoping to get some work done before flying back on the 7th but the three deadlines that I've set for myself look uncomfortably close. Motivation and discipline is key. I don't think I'm putting enough hours at the library though. And my evenings have been spent too frivalously on food and media; this I disclose with shame.
I say all this as I'm about to spend my weekend in London Christmas shopping. Yes, guilt emerges from the back of my mind. gulp
Still, I'm missing/thinking about home. Home. Home. Home. . . .
