Do you ever wonder

A friend of mine played the "what if" game with me last night and it opened up some old wounds. It reminded me of days past and most significantly, of what once was but now lost. People move on and it's a part of life. People grow up and that too is a part of life. But people also meet, fall in love, and grow old together. And maybe that's what makes all the heartaches in between worth something special.
