I proud to say I have survived! *laughing* AND the exam scars show it too - literally! I cut my finger over the weekend making dinner while my parents were away and well, surprise! it started to bleed during American Lit on Tuesday morning *rolls eyes*. hehe, so I had to rip a piece of paper and hold it there for three hours while I scribbled furiously with my right hand :)
Today was my 16th Century exam and afterwards my "english friends" and I just went to the den and hung out for hours; really fun. AND on Sunday there's a party and Tuesday a lunch-get-together thing! Being a hermit, I mention these things because a. I'm quite excited and proud of them and b. because I think I might actually go. It was cute because today my friend asked me I was going to dress up for the luncheon thing and I think we might a little bit! Hehe, it's at this beautiful house in the Hamptons overlooking the city and the woman hosting it was in my Victorian Class last spring and the last get-together was different from my usual fellowship get-togethers but super fun.
Okay! 2 more to go. Rah-rah Canadian Lit! :)
On a BRIGHT note: Happy 21st Birthday Andrea Wong!!

Oh my goodness, Trudy Ko. I am SOO excited for you. It sounds like you've really carved out for yourself this "english niche" and i love that you've created this world all on your own that belongs only to you. You MUST tell me everything about this luncheon (is this the older lady you told me about before?) Forgive me for stereotyping but i imagine all of you (and by all of you i mean: you, Erin Porter, Leland, and Bowen) sitting around a fireplace with a distinguished lady in her forties with tea and pastries. Ooh there's an oriental rug, and a weird portrait of her great-great-grandfather (who's holding a pocket-watch in one hand, and the other hand in his pocket...how aristocratic!), a guilded horse displayed on the end table and a FABRECHEY(sp) egg! So after a few awkward moments (with classical music playing in the background - let's make it French impressionist), something awkward happens (too uncouthe to write in public, i think you know what i'm thinking of hehehe) and then everyone bursts out laughing. Then you guys start talking about that scene in that Victorian novel where a similar thing happened and then you point and go "oh oh!" and it's all happy revolutionary chatter from there.
EEKS!!! TRUDY KO I CAN IMAGINE IT ALL UP HERE!! (pointing to head) eeeks!
